Milestones
Milestone Achieved in last two decades:
  1. More than 5000 out of school children have been mainstreamed in formal education system through our education support component for the deprived urban children of Kolkata under the flagship of Samagra Shiksha Mission (SSM), Kolkata (A comprehensive education program of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Dept. of School Education and Literacy, GoI).
  2. 500 slum children included in the Birth Registration Process initiated by UNICEF in collaboration with the Kolkata Municipal Corporation.
  3. More than 5000 community children facilitated with primary health support program (including free medicines) under the coverage of “Healing Wheel” project supported by the international agency GOAL, Ireland in collaboration with CLPOA (Kolkata City Level NGO Networking Body affiliated by GoI)
  4. Provided Mid Day Meal Support to more than 7000 deprived children of Elementary Education Centre of SSM, Kolkata including the students of selected primary schools of Kolkata Municipal Corporation. The programme was supported by School Education Department GoWB and The Kolkata Municipal Corporation.
  5. Formation and Training of 124 Women Self Help Groups (SHG) with credit access from financial institutions comprising of more than 1200 rural women of Sundarban areas of 24Pgs (S).
